Injury has stopped Usain Bolt from Paris and Lausanne races

Diamond League meets will complete without Usain Bolt Because of his pelvic injury. Jamaican sprint star the six-time Olympic champion Usain Bolt has withdrawn from Diamond League races in Paris and Lausanne next month. Bolt said "unable to compete at 100%". Bolt is suffering a leg injury which constrained him out of a week ago's Jamaican titles. He has additionally hauled out of the Lausanne meet on July 9. He said "I look forward to getting back into full training as soon as possible."

His goal now is to be fit for the world championships in Beijing from August 22-30.

28-year-old says he will defend his 100m and 200m titles at August's World Championships in China. He has had a poor season, running a best time of 10.12 seconds over 100m and 20.13 secs for 200m, while his rivals Justin Gatlin and Tyson Gay have been in much better form. This Jamaican is an eight-time world champion and has won six Olympic gold medals in his career. .
